In Rome, there are thousands of public drinking fountains called “nasoni” that locals and tourists use every day. Be sure to try it out on your next trip!
Many of them are connected to ancient aqueduct systems that date back over 2,000 years and still supply fresh, clean water across the city.
The water is continuously flowing, safe to drink, and often colder than bottled water, especially in the summer.
You’ll see people filling bottles or drinking straight from them while exploring the city, and yes, it`s clean to drink.
Did you know that about 1 in 3 trips is now influenced by social media? Has social media affected one of your recent trips?
[See below] If you’re going to Japan for cherry blossoms, these are the cities that are actually worth planning around. Save this post for your bucket list.
Tokyo is the main one. Parks like Ueno Park get packed, but it’s the full hanami experience.
Kyoto is more scenic. Temples and streets like Philosopher’s Path feel way more calm and photogenic.
Osaka is best for the classic view. Osaka Castle with cherry blossoms around it is one of the most recognizable spots.
For something quieter, Nara has open parks with deer and cherry blossoms together.
If you miss the timing, Sapporo blooms later, usually late April to early May.
The peak only lasts about a week in each city, so timing matters 🌸
Straight out of a movie 😍
In a mountain town in Taiwan called Jiufen, narrow streets wind up the mountainside, lined with glowing red lanterns, tea houses, and small shops.
As it gets dark, the whole area lights up, creating that dreamy, cinematic vibe people often compare to a Studio Ghibli film.
The town was once a gold mining hub, but today it’s known for its views, street food, and that nostalgic atmosphere.
